I know that finding a Mornington Peninsula Counsellor can feel like a daunting task. At a time when life might feel traumatic, confusing or stuck, finding a counsellor you can trust is essential.

With over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health space, from case management, youth work, advocacy and counselling, including 12 years in my private practice, I am honoured and grateful for the opportunity to help you.

As a qualified, registered counsellor, I employ an evidence-based, multi-faceted approach that’s guided by my client’s needs. With a wide range of therapeutic and coaching skills, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy, I can guide you toward the change that you desire.

I work with teenagers, adults, relationships & couples

I meet with clients in person in my home-based Clinic in Mount Eliza, as well as at Inscape Psychology in Balnarring. Since the pandemic however, sessions also happen via an online teleconferencing platform such as skype or zoom. These prove to be just as powerful as in-person visits

Outside of my private practice, my work as a Mornington Peninsula Counsellor extends to working in local secondary schools. As a strong advocate for adolescent wellbeing, this allows me the opportunity to support teenagers in their daily lives. As a mother to 2 teenage girls, I often draw on my personal experience navigating my role as Mum – holding on for the ride and reminding myself to remain grounded. These teen years can be rocky for both the young person and the parent, testing parenting and relationship values. As a professional, I know that having the resources and tools to communicate effectively is vital.

I actively support my own mental health by walking my dog to the beach daily, attending a local CrossFit gym, practicing mindfulness, and talking with my support crew. I look forward to being part of your support crew and help you to look forward to the future.
